78 Memorial Drive has been the home of the Country Women's Association (CWA) since 1957, when the Eumundi branch was established. The building was constructed that same year.
The CWA is a volunteer organisation that has been supporting women and families in rural and regional Queensland since 1922. The Eumundi branch has been an active part of the community for nearly 70 years, raising funds for local causes and providing a meeting place for women in the area.
The building remains one of the most distinctive on the main street, with its classic Queensland timber construction and welcoming verandah.
